Friday event

Friday has been one long and eventful day!!

I had facial in the morning at 1030. But being the early-me, I reached Orchard at 1000 and so I went into Kinokuniya and bought my PEARLS BEFORE SWINE comic!!! Whee...

Anyway, it was Phillippe's bday so I rushed down to meet him for lunch!!! heehee!!! See how good our food looks!! STINGRAY!!! Yummy!!! Drool!!! (My blog gonna be a food blog pretty soon) Yummy!!!

I wonder why the birthday boy looks so tired!!! MUST BE pretty gal appear... he used up too much energy!!! hahah!!!!

AND THE FOOD IS REALLY GOOD!!!

After that, I rushed down to FIIM meeting in school!!! Was late for 45 mins.. Opps... hahha!!!! Well, I supposed we had to discuss FIIM project, but we ended up taking photos!!! hahaha!!!!

But I have to say it really worked my right arm!!! so painful now!!! It aches particularly when I woke up in the mornign!! Worse till, Have to go to aerobics with the aching arms and legs!!! Grrr Grr... But we have fun!!!

After badminton, Shawn, Joyce and Ash came over to my place to bathe!! heehee... and Koko came out to take a peek!!! heheee... And after that to my favourite Prata!!!

It's been sooooo long since I went pak-toring with Zhiwei... Yes!!! We went PAKTOR today!!! or should I say we went Shopping!??? But still got the paktor feeling, like we were back in Hong Kong shopping. See things then buy!!!!!! Of course, with the Isetan vouchers, I could shop all I want!!! And you know what!!!??? I have pick a couple of things I'm going to buy during the sale!! Hope they will still be there!! Whee!!!!!!!!

The pants was super cheap!!!! It's originally $45.90, and it was reduced to $19.90!!! Hard Gay Hooooo.... And yes!! I went back to buy the mondo shoes in Isetan I saw yesterday!!! hahaha!!! The guy gave me a 10% discount, because there was a little blue stain that he can't get rid of.. and it's so worth it, cuz the shoes will get dirty sooner or later. Furthermore, the stain isn't that obvious!! YEAH!!! I got my white shoes!!! Now I have my silver xmas shoes, my beautiful black polka dotty shoes, and my white shoes... Got one more school-shoes lookalike though. But that's painful!!! hahaha...

But now, I'm thinking of another pair of mondo shoes!!! I wanna buy that!! They have it in green, pink and beige!!! Do I need a pair of pink shoes??? hmmm.... I hope Isetan will carry that!!! So I can buy with the vouchers!!!! Furthermore, I think it'll be 20+++ only!!! I WANT!!!!!

Anyway, we were entitled to a free pearl with any purchase of $25. GUESS WHAT??? The guy cut the pearl out from the oyster right in front of me!!! IT's SO COOLz!!!!!!!!!!!!! So pretty right!!! Though it stinks a bit... But it's soooo pretty!!!! SO FASCINATING! I was so tempted to take pix with that guy... But i din want to look like tourist!!! If I'm in Hong Kong, I think I would!! hahaha..... Anyway, no one will recognise me!!! hahaha!!!!

After our shopping (zhiwei bought things too), we went to Galare for ice-cream waffle!! Yummy!!! I'm so guilty now, because I'm supposed to be on my strict diet to lose weight!!! But we need a seat. Zhiwei's feet was hurting because of the warts (dunno how to spell) and my ass was hurting so badly after aerobics. Speaking of aerobics, only 4 ppl turned up today!! there's so much free space!! So shiok!!! can finally extend our hands!!! but Cara (our instructor) had an enjoyable time torturing us!!! I'm still aching!!!

Suicide

Suicide from my block???

I was walking home with Zhiwei today, and when we climbed up the stairs to the staircase that leads to my door, we saw the police cordoning off the area from the lift. Curious as we are, we kay see walked over to the letterbox to see what was happening? Still we have no idea.. Someone said suicide... and we went "hmmmm?"

So we went home and asked daddy what happened, like us, he has absolutely no idea, except that he heard a loud boooomp. thinking it's something that has exploded.

Then... Mama, sis and mel came back, and told us it's a suicide case.

So me and Mama went down to kaypo again... and you know what, the body was just behind the letterbox!!! Argh.. So scary........ and his posture was one of standing. I guess it's gonna be a disturbing image. Well regardless what the posture is. I hope no one has seen him fall, if not the image may never disappear.

The guy who died was not mentally stable, but he pose absolutely no disturbance or harm to anyone. Sometimes, it just makes people wonder why is human mind can be so vulnerable? Will he even know what he did?

I can't stop thinking about my friend who passed away a year ago. Zhiwei must have felt worse... Hope the soccer will distract him away from it. Or perhaps as a virgo, I think too much... I hope so. They were so close...

Food!!! It's so tough to obey my strict diet rules with this wallpaper on my laptop!!!! hahah... But me court for it!! 1st. i get fat because i ate too much (just look at the amount of food in the pix) plus work has a little pantry which makes me pick up food when i take a break off work... Blame the pantry!!! 2nd. I choose to put that pix up!!! But looking at the food makes me happy!!! hahaha...

But school has been so stressful!!! I have been studying non-stop since 2 weeks ago!! Burying my head in the textbook... All because of the numerous endless quiz!!!!! and what's worse!!! There's 2 more quizzes 2 weeks later!!! I'm sooo dead.... And all the project research that i ought to be doing!!! But I need a break!!!! Ah!!!! I need to iron clothes too!! Haven't iron them yet!!! Shall iron after i finish blogging!!!

Anyway, look at the mango pudding in the pix!!! Wun you go 垂涎三尺? The color is so rich... and it simply tastes heavenly!!! Try not to think of the pounds that you have to put on because of that... I'm almost drooling every time i see that pix!!! I miss it soooo much!!! Why must the 许留山 close down in Singapore? But i heard the pudding can go up to 10+++ ... So expensive.. Wld I go if it's soo ex? Once a while.. I really do not mind!!! But it's soooo fattening and heaty!!! How??!!! It's sooooo nice!!!! The yummy mango!!!! I want to go back to Hong Kong for that!!!

Shall we go back a few years later when disneyland's other lands open up??!!!! But I wanna go soo many places. I want go Bangkok with my friends (but now got coup... not like I got money... So funny.. all of a sudden got coup.. reminds me of russian revolution, Germany revolution and Italian... I studied so hard back then in JC!!!! I can still remember Napoleon stopped fighting in one of the battles because he has piles!!! hahaha So funny!!!)

Where was I?? Oh ya.. Places I wanna go!!! I wanna go Taiwan (mama and sis wanna go too!!!) and I wanna bring mama to korean!!! and when i learnt my japanese and have enough money I wanna go JAPAN!!!! I LOVE JAPAN!!!! Maybe go Sydney look for James, and Melbourne for Gary... I wanna go Hawaii too!!!

Strange enough.. I dun have much urge to visit Europe.. not very attractive to me.. I wonder why??....

Manz I'm so bored, Prof is playing some video about shopping mall, so many shops.. I keep hearing the word "BUY", and "SHOPPING".... My heart and my hands are itching.... *Scratch Scatch Scratch* I think Retail Management just make me feel like going shopping!!!

I was studying for my retail management quiz the last few days, and I was desperate to go shopping!! I just wanted to spend money!!!! Was so tempted to walk into Parkway Parade yesterday when I'm heading to Zhiwei's house... If not for my still rational mind, I would have spend all my money away on mindless things...

I just bought a hand cream from Marks and Spenser. I wonder why??!!!! hahaha.. I already got so many hand creams at home. and chocolate coated digestive biscuit!!! Mama is going to scream at me!! I shall keep it for Zhiwei till he gets well. hope it doesn't end up in my stomach in the meanwhile...

Upper Thomson Crepes Restaurant

I can't help but notice the article in the Sunday Times regarding the crepes restaurant in Upper Thomson. haha.... It happened that Yanlong, Joyce and I almost stepped into the restaurant. Fortunately we did not have enough cash on hand. Being too lazy to walk back to the restaurant, it's a blessing in disguise that we found our way into Hagen Dasz instead. hahah....

I can't help it but start imagining that they will throw us out because we were not properly dressed... hahaha (well, only me lar... hahah... )

But I did notice something ridiculous abt the restaurant - there is a MINIMUM purchase of $10 per head!!! and only CASH payment is allowed. Crazy!!! $10 per head, so which means go in die die must eat!!! Crazy restaurant!!!!! hahahah!!!!!!

My sis was telling me too that there were a lot of complaints about bad service in that restaurant on forums!!! OooooooOoooooOooooooOoooooo.....

It's 9:28am, Saturday! I'm waiting to go for aerobics. So i thought might as well blog about HK. hehe...

Haha.. Finally I'm thinking of uploading pic, but something is bothering me... I think I'm simply too lazy!!! haha...

Anyway, I is so proud of my achievement. Cuz I planned everything from air-tix to hotel stay (with the help from YL and Joyce) heehee... then shawn is the picky picky one and the troublesome troublesome one... so irritating...

Day One
Yanlong, Joyce, Shawn and Ash were already there one day in advance. So Zhiwei and I took the jetstar flight, which is super cheap as compared to cathay and SIA. But as usual, there's no free lunch in the world, cuz there's no lunch on board at all. Well, what to do... I was damn sway. Got stomach cramp the moment I got on the plane. Poor me... Plus the leg space was pathetic, imagine my misery onboard. Haiz...

Our hotel stay was at Metropark Kowloon - Mongkok. I love Mongkok. Should always stay in Mongkok, you know why... A lot of eateries downstairs. Me and zhiwei went roaming ard and anyhow go into one cha can ting... and the food was FAB FAB FAB!!! haha Yummy... Don't think TST will have as much right, since it's kinda like a shopping place like orchard. So we have all the good food underneath us!! haha...

Oh ya, did i mention.. I met Uncle Harry??? Even took a pic with him..

Went to argyle centre after that. DO NOT GO THERE ON A WEEKEND!!! It was so packed that I can't even get in to the shops and I almost cried especially after my stomach cramp and diarrheor. haha...

Microsoft is coming out with MP3 Players too. It claims that Creative and iRiver are unable to achieve what they want them to do - grab away iPod's Market Share. So it's gonna come out and combat Apple.

Coughing away at home...

I think my office is full of germs and virus!! Over the 3 months I worked there, I fell sick 4 times. Well, the first time doesn't count though, cuz that was stomach cramp. The 2nd time counts, cuz it's gastric problem. Well, i know it's not germs, but it's the eating habits when you work. (I'm such a hardworking intern that i did not go for teabreak) Hardworking - in doubt. Ok fine... I did not dare to venture into the office elevator. But you know what... I got smarter nowadays, why suffer ? So i always sneaked downstairs and stock up some yoghurt in my office little fridge!!!

Oh... Talking about the little fridge!!! Know what, My office has hot chocolate!!! Yummy!!!!!!!!

Anyway I dolled up my little cubicle already. It's now so clean that you wun find a speck of dust lying around. I have tissue and wet tissue equipped to remove all this undesirable dust. and I printed out a cute calendar for the month of august!!! and of course pinned out where everyone could see. That was sthg not very desirable, but there's no other place to pin... My cubicle is freaking small. Oh man... My coughing is thunderous... will be going to the doctor again... Sianz....

Me just went doctor 2 weeks ago and 1 month ago. So paiseh to keep visiting the doctor, make me feel like some weak woman!!! But I is no weak!!!!

Oh ya, I make a little photo size card where i put all my koko's pic and paste it in my cubicle!! So happy!! Looking at Koko just make me happy....

Anyway, this dodo bird almost burst my blood vessels today!!! I am so totally pissed with her that I have to ask my colleague to the toilet to channel my anger somewhere else.

Well, she's a manager and hence she thinks she is very big! So what she loves to do is to order ppl around!!! So she tried to order me, giving me incoherent orders and make me feel like a retard talking to her. This is how our conversation goes:

Dodo: Woeilin ah, this is a very good learning opportunity. You need the details for the flyers right? Go ask D and A for the information, collate them then pass to me, den i will edit.

Me: huh... what good learning opportunity. Do you even need to tell me this - these are the things i will be doing w/o u telling me? What's the next thing then? Woeilin, you must breathe to continue living?? WTH! Anyway, what the hell are you talking about?
Me: Dodo.. wait a minute. Me catch no ball. Why you edit? I need input from you also wat?

Dodo: oh... you go collect the information from D and A den finish everything pass to me to edit

Me: Aiya whatever la. Me busy. *ignore her*

So I continue to do my work, busy discussing sthg with my other colleague.
and Dodo suddenly turn around and said :

Dodo: Woeilin ah, you will collect the information from A and D and pass to me to edit ok?

Me: What la? Can stop disturbing me? Why tell me the same thing (oh.. she loves to repeat herself 1001 times - loh soh)
Me: huh... thought you told me just now le... Wait Dodo, i dun get you, what pass to you let you edit. Why you edit? I need input from you also what?

Dodo: Oh... you collect from them and pass to me?

Me: Do i need to repeat myself, idiot? and what are you to edit? You know the least, and A english is much better than you too!!! WTH... you think you wat? Manager big ah!!?? You only working title can, dun be bossy, you are not up to that. i don't take orders from idiots!!

Me: Dodo, do you know exactly what i need? I need the selling point of the building you know. So i no need you to do the editting, C and I will be the ones doing it. What I need from you is what value can you give to the building? Off-hand... (I bet she doesn't know anything, just want to shoot arrow)

A while later, she turns around again!!!

Me: WTF!!! CAN DON"T DISTURB ME!! Me BUSY!!!

I have just been given an excel project, a slightly simple version of CAT project!!
It's all mine!!! Me, myself and Excel... No one to help me... boohoohoo...
I have a new colleague, should i gossip about her here??

Anyway, the new admin colleague had tendered her resignation. I lost one colleague... It's kinda like she's not bad on her last day. So mean....
