It's 9:28am, Saturday! I'm waiting to go for aerobics. So i thought might as well blog about HK. hehe...

Haha.. Finally I'm thinking of uploading pic, but something is bothering me... I think I'm simply too lazy!!! haha...

Anyway, I is so proud of my achievement. Cuz I planned everything from air-tix to hotel stay (with the help from YL and Joyce) heehee... then shawn is the picky picky one and the troublesome troublesome one... so irritating...

Day One
Yanlong, Joyce, Shawn and Ash were already there one day in advance. So Zhiwei and I took the jetstar flight, which is super cheap as compared to cathay and SIA. But as usual, there's no free lunch in the world, cuz there's no lunch on board at all. Well, what to do... I was damn sway. Got stomach cramp the moment I got on the plane. Poor me... Plus the leg space was pathetic, imagine my misery onboard. Haiz...

Our hotel stay was at Metropark Kowloon - Mongkok. I love Mongkok. Should always stay in Mongkok, you know why... A lot of eateries downstairs. Me and zhiwei went roaming ard and anyhow go into one cha can ting... and the food was FAB FAB FAB!!! haha Yummy... Don't think TST will have as much right, since it's kinda like a shopping place like orchard. So we have all the good food underneath us!! haha...

Oh ya, did i mention.. I met Uncle Harry??? Even took a pic with him..

Went to argyle centre after that. DO NOT GO THERE ON A WEEKEND!!! It was so packed that I can't even get in to the shops and I almost cried especially after my stomach cramp and diarrheor. haha...

New MP3 Player...

Microsoft is coming out with MP3 Players too. It claims that Creative and iRiver are unable to achieve what they want them to do - grab away iPod's Market Share. So it's gonna come out and combat Apple.

Well well well, what big ego they have!! heehee... I'm pretty much anticipating how they are going to market their products...

Coughing away at home...

I think my office is full of germs and virus!! Over the 3 months I worked there, I fell sick 4 times. Well, the first time doesn't count though, cuz that was stomach cramp. The 2nd time counts, cuz it's gastric problem. Well, i know it's not germs, but it's the eating habits when you work. (I'm such a hardworking intern that i did not go for teabreak) Hardworking - in doubt. Ok fine... I did not dare to venture into the office elevator. But you know what... I got smarter nowadays, why suffer ? So i always sneaked downstairs and stock up some yoghurt in my office little fridge!!!

Oh... Talking about the little fridge!!! Know what, My office has hot chocolate!!! Yummy!!!!!!!!

Anyway I dolled up my little cubicle already. It's now so clean that you wun find a speck of dust lying around. I have tissue and wet tissue equipped to remove all this undesirable dust. and I printed out a cute calendar for the month of august!!! and of course pinned out where everyone could see. That was sthg not very desirable, but there's no other place to pin... My cubicle is freaking small. Oh man... My coughing is thunderous... will be going to the doctor again... Sianz....

Me just went doctor 2 weeks ago and 1 month ago. So paiseh to keep visiting the doctor, make me feel like some weak woman!!! But I is no weak!!!!

Oh ya, I make a little photo size card where i put all my koko's pic and paste it in my cubicle!! So happy!! Looking at Koko just make me happy....

How I handle her : Give her attitude and laugh at her! (I tried my best to talk to her, but it lands me in trouble - now she talks to me even more - and it irritates the hell out of me)

Anyway, this dodo bird almost burst my blood vessels today!!! I am so totally pissed with her that I have to ask my colleague to the toilet to channel my anger somewhere else.

Well, she's a manager and hence she thinks she is very big! So what she loves to do is to order ppl around!!! So she tried to order me, giving me incoherent orders and make me feel like a retard talking to her. This is how our conversation goes:

Dodo: Woeilin ah, this is a very good learning opportunity. You need the details for the flyers right? Go ask D and A for the information, collate them then pass to me, den i will edit.

Me: huh... what good learning opportunity. Do you even need to tell me this - these are the things i will be doing w/o u telling me? What's the next thing then? Woeilin, you must breathe to continue living?? WTH! Anyway, what the hell are you talking about?
Me: Dodo.. wait a minute. Me catch no ball. Why you edit? I need input from you also wat?

Dodo: oh... you go collect the information from D and A den finish everything pass to me to edit

Me: Aiya whatever la. Me busy. *ignore her*

So I continue to do my work, busy discussing sthg with my other colleague.
and Dodo suddenly turn around and said :

Dodo: Woeilin ah, you will collect the information from A and D and pass to me to edit ok?

Me: What la? Can stop disturbing me? Why tell me the same thing (oh.. she loves to repeat herself 1001 times - loh soh)
Me: huh... thought you told me just now le... Wait Dodo, i dun get you, what pass to you let you edit. Why you edit? I need input from you also what?

Dodo: Oh... you collect from them and pass to me?

Me: Do i need to repeat myself, idiot? and what are you to edit? You know the least, and A english is much better than you too!!! WTH... you think you wat? Manager big ah!!?? You only working title can, dun be bossy, you are not up to that. i don't take orders from idiots!!

Me: Dodo, do you know exactly what i need? I need the selling point of the building you know. So i no need you to do the editting, C and I will be the ones doing it. What I need from you is what value can you give to the building? Off-hand... (I bet she doesn't know anything, just want to shoot arrow)

Dodo: #$%^&*(#$%^&*(#$%^&*(#$%^&*($%^&* (I can't remember what she was saying... regardless what, it sounds like noises only)

A while later, she turns around again!!!

Me: WTF!!! CAN DON"T DISTURB ME!! Me BUSY!!!

Dodo: Woeilin ah.... (*slap*) you no need do anything le!!

Me: Who are you to tell me no need do anything??!! and what are you referring to, idiot?

Me: No need do wat? (irritated tone) No need do flyer ah? Why no need do flyer?

Dodo: oH.. you no need do anything le!!!

Me: WTF!! Can you specify no need do wat? No need flyer or what? Me busy now!

Dodo: Oh woeilin ah... You No need take information from them le?? (how many times you need to repeat)

Me: Huh,... you got see the question marks or not? No need take information means what?? No need do flyer? Why no need do flyer?

Dodo: Oh nono ... need to do flyer... but no need take information from them..... (repeat again)

Me: No need take information from them, then how to do flyer??!!!!!! What you trying to say?

A: WOeilin, give you!!!

Me: Ah... information... So this is the one you talkin about? (Can you just say that was past records, instead of wasting my time. Me rushing for time you know!!)

Wah!!! I almost vomitted blood talking to her!!!!

This is not the worst!!! There are more stories of her!!! Next time.. too long.. She's too long-winded!!!!

Another Sunday

It's Sunday, another lazy Sunday...

I'm so lazy, so lazy to blog, so lazy to sit up, so lazy to open my eyes, so lazy to wringle my fingers, so lazy to even breathe....

I love my job... I love my colleagues... But work can be infuriating...

I have just been given an excel project, a slightly simple version of CAT project!!
It's all mine!!! Me, myself and Excel... No one to help me... boohoohoo...
I have a new colleague, should i gossip about her here??

Anyway, the new admin colleague had tendered her resignation. I lost one colleague... It's kinda like she's not bad on her last day. So mean....

Something new happened today!!!! Desmond took me out for viewing with 2 Japanese clients today. Whee... So fun!!! We went to so many places, and visit all the available units in a merz cab. So fun!! But i have to squeeze with the 2 jap guys in the back seat, while desmond enjoyed the view of the traffic.

Visited Science Park 1 and 3 today!!! It's really an experience manz, meeting the landlords! They even have a gym inside the science park and it only cost 45 bucks a month! cheap for a big gym. Well, but it's nothing compared to our SMU gym!! FREE!!!!! and BIG!!!!!! and NEW!!!!!! and Showers are fantastic!!!!!!

Oh and I met a lot of landlords today! Went to one unit at XXX, the unit is so f***ing funny. It has like 2 floors, first floor is split into 2 floors with a slight raised platform with 2 steps. Behind that is a wall... let me try to draw it out. All of us went in and gasp, followed by ha ha ha... and of course they spent so little time to decide it's not for them.

I felt boliao drawing this... haha..

Desmond was still telling me that we can do catwork here and then pose at the staircase!! haha.. and mr. landlord came over and told us this used to be a photo studio...

4th Week of Internship

It's the 4th week of internship and I want to go back to school! I don't want to work! I don't like to work! Working is such a tedious and tiring thing. I'm starting to understand why working adults choose to go back to school!

Today was a good day, Ashley showed me the ropes of the business here, it was so sweet of him.... Muacks to him!!! and our department had a challenge for him - to get a hot babe partner by the end of aug, and we will sponsor him to an overseas trip nearby!!!

Sobz, $$ been flying away. It's only the 4th week, and I already have 2 colleagues having their bday! And I'm in charge of the cake for tomorrow. Whee!! can choose anything I want!!!

Nostalgia

This may just be another view of the Singapore Habour to a lot of us, however it is of significant significance to me. This was the view I see everyday before my entry to SMU. A view shared between Zhiwei and I. The view which brought us together. heehee.

I know it sounds as though my internship is like coolie job... heehee...

But back-breaking is no exaggeration!!! Boohoohoo... I'm suffering from back ache everyday. It bugs me everyday, every minute, every second. I'm no different from an old woman now!!!

I'm fidgeting in my seats... searching for the most comfortable position, in other ways, a posture that won't make my back ache as much.

Anyway, watched Mission Impossible 3 yesterday. Let me see, I will give it a rating of 3.5/5.
Basically, it's not a fabulous film. Why? (My giraffe shoe just got stuck in the chair, I'm trying to pull it out, because my foot is in it. Shucks... Big giraffe mouth is obstructing the way) Anyway, I don't fancy Tom Cruise, so he will not add any points to the show; the show is lengthy, my back was screaming in agony; the story line is typical, the seemingly good guy is the bad guy, the seemingly bad guy is the good guy (Oh No.. Anyone of you intending to watch it?? Too bad... =p). The only thing that gives it a passing rating is Maggie Q!!! She's Hot!!! haha.... (the guys in my company are crazy over her)

It's my first day of internship!! Sobz... No more holidays... No more late weekdays morning... No more TV in the morning... No more playing with Koko in the morning. Ok, i know I ought to stop here, if not the list never ends.

Anyway, I'm supposed to be in Raffles Place for my internship, but I was at Tanjong Pagar half the day. Why?? I have to sneak into buildings and track down tenants!!! Whee... So exciting right?? Exciting, my foot manz... My feet are sore!! Must avoid camera so must walk stairs.. but i got smarter and use lifts yet avoid detection.

Achievement of the Day: I walk 3 buildings today!!! Going to walk more!!! And I can get extra income from walking buildings. I think I earn $73 more today!!! Don't be jealous folks... haha...

I found my giraffe slipper!!!

Went to Marina Square to look for my slipper, and I found my old slippers in Bearyhip!! Yippee!!!
You know, I have been waiting for it for years, ever since Mom threw away my old one! I love it, I was so guilty and upset when I had to part with it. Now I have it back! Yippee!! Zhiwei bought it for me, knowing that I'm broke!! hehee... So sweet!!!

Isn't it cute??? The old design is even better! The Fur is nicer!! heehee.. I still miss my old one!!!

Anyway, went to the PAP rally the other day, it's kinda funny to hear them speak... Their content is pretty off, like they are appealing to the aunties but they are speaking in English... So as if they can understand. And to those who understood, it feels like stop-patronising. But anyway, I don't have the right to vote yet, so heck care...

I wouldn't suggest anyone to watch it, the plot is not too good, not original, it reminds me of a hybrid of Magdagascar and Ice Age 2! It's funny though. But not fantastic!!! haha...

A Little Girl at Heart Flaunting her Assets

Finally.. I met Geelian again!!! Haven't met her for ages, and guess what.. she's attached again. heehee.. Anyway, she's my best secondary school friends. But, the guy that spoke to me was pretty cute, he got cute eyes. *grin*And he's from the SAME SECONDARY school as me!!! What a coincidence! The funny thing is Prudential Guy did not tell me anything about Savings Plan! Surprise!!

Anyway, was snapping pictures around my room, and I found my Long-Lost Soft Toy!! My Most Most Most Most Beloved Soft-toy!!! It's Pom Pom Purin from Sanrio !!! I got 2!!! One Big one and one smaller one! Both are my Birthday Present, the small one from my beloved Jasmine on my 13th Birthday and the big one from Vivian and Peck Shan on my 14th Birthday.

Note the color difference!(if you can...) I hugged the small one so often, that the color faded and it looks like Ah-ma.
